This is an 8 year old Fettercairn bottled by Premier Barrel from a single cask, at 46% ABV in a 70cl bottle. Fettercairn is a Highland distillery founded by Sir Alexander Ramsay in 1824. The whisky is bottled without chill-filtration and comes in a ceramic decanter.
The nose offers orchard fruits, honeyed malt and vanilla cream. The palate is sweet barley and pear drops with gentle spice and creamy toffee. The finish is smooth and lingering, with malt biscuits and subtle oak.
