Prohibition – Single Malt Whisky Release 01 (46.9%)

Prohibition Single Malt Whisky Release 01 is a single malt bottled at 46.9% ABV. It was made from local malted barley and distilled twice in a small copper pot still. This first release used pale malt barley and champagne yeast, and was distilled in 2019 in the pot still named Mary. Maturation began in three small casks: a former gin barrel, a reworked shiraz barrel and a piece of French oak. The whisky was then blended and spent a final 12 months in a 200-litre ex-bourbon cask.
