Proper No. Twelve is a blended Irish whiskey created by Conor McGregor with the master distiller at Bushmills, the oldest distillery on the island of Ireland. It is bottled at 40% ABV. The blend brings together sweet Irish grain whiskey and Irish single malt, and took many rounds of trial and error to settle. The name comes from Dublin 12, the south-west Dublin postal district that includes Crumlin, where McGregor grew up. It is described as soft and balanced, with a hint of vanilla, honeyed sweetness and toasted wood.
