Sole is an Italian single malt from Puni Distillery, bottled at 46% in a 70cl bottle and labelled The Italian Malt Whisky.
It matured for two years in ex-bourbon casks and a further two years in Pedro Ximenez sherry casks.
The nose is fresh, with apple, vanilla, caramel and wax. The palate is sweet, with strong notes of blood orange and honey alongside apple, dried fruit and oak. The finish is long and soft, with a hint of spice and nuts.
