Pure Kentucky XO (70cl, 53.5%)

Pure Kentucky XO is a small batch Kentucky bourbon from the Kentucky Bourbon Distillery, bottled at 53.5% in a 70cl bottle. It is 4 years and 7 months old and is bottled by hand. It won a gold medal at the San Francisco World Spirits Competition. The colour is a deep amber, close to bronze. The nose offers vanilla, leather and nutty notes. The palate is rich with caramel and butterscotch, almost sweet, with strong spice, cedar, citrus, vanilla, dried grasses and grain. The finish is intense and long-lasting.
