Rabbit Hole – 'Boxergrail' Rye Whiskey

Rabbit Hole 'Boxergrail' is a Kentucky straight rye whiskey from Rabbit Hole Distillery in Louisville. The name honours the city's boxing heritage and its local fighters. The spirit is distilled in custom copper column stills and matured in charred American oak casks. It has a deep copper-amber colour and a full body. The nose offers toasted rye bread, candied citrus peel and vanilla bean, with baking spices, spearmint, pipe tobacco, toasted oak and dark caramel. The palate brings spiced orchard fruit, butterscotch, dark cocoa nibs and savoury herbs, with a spicy drive through the oak sweetness. The finish is very long, dry and warm, with black pepper, mint and charred oak.
