A single barrel Kentucky straight bourbon from Rabbit Hole, a distillery exclusive with artwork by Kasiq. It was aged first in a toasted and charred new American oak barrel, then finished in a Pedro Ximenez sherry cask. It is bottled at cask strength, 50% ABV, with nothing added.
The nose brings custard, walnut, sherry and brown sugar. On the palate come cinnamon, tobacco, oak, caramel, blackcurrant, lemon and cherry. The finish is medium to long and clean, with wine toffee and toasted pecans.
