Racquet Club Spirits Bourbon is a straight bourbon aged for four years in new charred oak and bottled at 42% in a 75cl bottle. The mash bill is high in rye, at 60% corn, 36% rye and 4% malted barley. It was distilled by MGP in Indiana and is unfiltered.
The brand comes from Palm Springs, founded by Brian Harke and Matthew Winks as a tribute to the Racquet Club resort of 1934. It has won Double Gold at the Sip Awards and the San Diego Spirits Festival.
The nose offers caramel, vanilla, fruit, cocoa and nuts. The palate brings caramel, vanilla, chocolate and smoke, and the finish is gentle and balanced, with caramel.
