RAER Inaugural is the first release from Jackton Distillery, a single malt Scotch bottled at 48.7% in a 70cl bottle. It is non-chill-filtered.
The whisky is matured in four first-fill casks: Bourbon, Pedro Ximenez, Amontillado and Oloroso sherry.
Fruitcake, fig and sultana show on the nose. Dark fruits, treacle and toasted nuts lead the palate, and the finish brings toffee, sweet spice and soft oak.
