Ragtime Rye Bottled in Bond (50%)

Ragtime Rye Bottled in Bond is the Bottled in Bond edition of the flagship rye from the New York Distilling Company, introduced in April 2019. It is bottled at 50% ABV after at least four years of maturation. The mash bill is 75% rye, 13% corn and 12% malted barley. All the rye grain comes from New York state, which qualifies the whiskey for the Empire Rye designation. The nose brings dark fruits, maple syrup, red cola cubes, a trace of white pepper and tart cherry. On the palate, tannic oak, leather and jammy berries meet nutmeg and cinnamon, with a hint of vanilla. The finish is eucalyptus and lemon peel, a little drying.
