Rampur Asava is an Indian single malt matured in American bourbon barrels and then perfected in Indian Cabernet Sauvignon casks. It is bottled at 45% in a 70cl bottle.
The nose has the tropical fruit character of Rampur, with apricot, blackberry and plum, followed by a faint hint of tobacco and spice. On the palate, velvety manuka honey sweetness meets spicy oak and vanilla, balanced by dryness from the Indian red wine casks. The finish is of medium length.
