Rampur Double Cask Single Malt

This is an Indian single malt from Rampur, made by Radico Khaitan. It is double matured, first in American bourbon barrels and then in European sherry oak casks. The combination of American white oak and European oak gives the whisky its coppery tone. The nose offers ripe tropical fruit with soft malt and a subtle oak spice. On the palate, rich sherry notes meet creamy caramel and dark dried fruit. The finish is long and generous.
