Rampur – Jugalbandi #1 Single Malt Indian Whisky (70cl, 56.1%)

Rampur Jugalbandi #1 is an Indian single malt, bottled at 56.1% in a 70cl bottle. It was matured in American bourbon barrels in the north of India, then finished in Moscatel casks from Portugal. The Jugalbandi series takes its name from a word meaning 'entwined twins', a reference to a duet in Indian classical music. In each expression two casks are meant to complement one another, and here the pairing is intended to give a blend of spice and sweetness. The aromas are of dark dried fruits, including raisins, dried plum and grapefruit.
