Rampur Jugalbandi #6 is an Indian single malt from the Rampur Distillery, run by Radico Khaitan in the foothills of the Himalayas. It is bottled at cask strength, about 55.8%, and matured in select Madeira casks.
Jugalbandi is a series built on the pairing of two complementary casks, an idea reflected in a name that means entwined musical partners. This release was named Best World Single Malt at the John Barleycorn Awards 2025, the first Indian whisky to receive the honour.
The nose is floral and citrus with lychee, mango, peach and apricot, plus caramel pineapple, roasted pecan, shortbread and cinnamon. The palate opens with creamy vanilla, then plum, dates and dark chocolate.
