Rebel 10 Year Old Single Barrel, formerly Rebel Yell, is a Kentucky straight bourbon bottled at 100 proof (50% ABV) in a 750ml bottle. Each bottle comes from a single charred oak barrel aged for at least ten years.
It is a wheated bourbon, with wheat in place of rye in the mash bill. Since 2018 it has been distilled and aged at the Lux Row Distillery in Bardstown, Kentucky.
The nose brings caramel, vanilla and soft oak, and some barrels show dark fruit, citrus or peanut brittle. The palate is velvety and sweet, with vanilla, caramel and honey, moving to toasted oak, baking spices, dark cherry and cocoa. The finish is warm and medium to long, with spice, citrus and lingering oaky sweetness.
