Rebel Kentucky Straight Bourbon is made in Bardstown, Kentucky, at a distillery still in the hands of the family that started it. John Rempe is the master distiller and has made whiskey there for more than 20 years.
The bourbon spends four years in American oak, which gives it a round character.
The nose offers honey, butter and raisins. The finish has a full body, with honey and dried fruit.
