Rebel Stave Collection Caramel Honey Single Barrel (75cl)

A wheated Kentucky straight bourbon from Rebel, distilled at Lux Row Distillers in Bardstown and aged for four years in new charred American white oak. The mashbill is 68% corn, 20% wheat and 12% malted barley. It is finished with specially toasted caramel honey staves, which add further layers of flavour beyond what the barrel char gives. As a single barrel bottling, each barrel gives its own result. Butterscotch, golden honey and toasted oak lead the nose, with a touch of baking spice. The palate brings rich caramel, honey and vanilla, then toasted wood and light cinnamon. The finish is medium, with caramel and warm oak.
