Rebel Yell Rye (75cl, 45%)

Rebel Yell Rye is a Kentucky straight rye whiskey bottled at 45% ABV in a 75cl bottle. It is produced under the Lux Row Distillers name in Bardstown, from rye distillate sourced from MGP in Lawrenceburg, Indiana, and is aged for a minimum of two years. The mashbill is reported as 95% rye and 5% malted barley. It won Gold in the Rye Super Premium category at The American Whiskey Masters 2018 and a Double Gold at the San Francisco World Spirits Competition. The nose shows rye dill, wintergreen and dark sugars with a little vanilla. The palate combines rye spice and citrus zest with vanilla, caramel, dark bread and malty grain. The finish is medium and dry, with wintergreen, baking spice and lingering warmth.
