Red Hills Whisky High Quality 1970s (75cl, 43%)

Red Hills Whisky High Quality is a 75cl bottle from the 1970s, bottled at 43%. The nose is soft and sweet, with floral notes reminiscent of a light perfume and very little alcohol bite, cask influence or spice. The palate opens sweet before turning to a floral character that some tasters liken to hand soap, followed by a little black pepper. The finish is medium to short, leaving a peppery, spicy remnant that is acceptable if flat.
