Redbreast – 12 Year Old (70cl, 40%)

Redbreast 12 Year Old is an Irish pot still whiskey in a 70cl bottle, bottled at 40% abv. It is made entirely from pot still whiskey and has a high proportion of sherry ageing, with two sherry casks used for each bourbon cask. Redbreast began as a brand name for Jameson's pure Irish pot still whiskey, bottled in bond by Gilbeys. It was first made in 1939, with Jameson filling Gilbey's own casks. The brand faded after the closure of the Jameson distillery and was later relaunched.
