Redbreast 12 Year Old (70cl, 40%)

Redbreast 12 Year Old is an Irish pure pot still whiskey bottled at 40% in a 70cl bottle. It belongs to the small group of whiskeys that still follow the older Irish tradition of distilling from both malted and unmalted, or green, barley. That mix gives the spirit a steely edge alongside a more oily, flavourful and mouth-filling character. It is typically described as full-bodied with rich aromas and a medium sweetness, with notes of ginger and honey and a familiar toffee note running through it.
