Redbreast 21 Years Single Pot Still Irish Whiskey (70cl, 46%)

Redbreast 21 Years is a single pot still Irish whiskey from Midleton, bottled at 46% in a 70cl bottle. The Redbreast range is matured exclusively in first-fill sherry and bourbon casks. This older expression is a blend of casks that includes a good proportion of whiskey older than 21 years. The nose combines tropical pineapple and crushed peanuts with prunes, quince and caramelised apple. On the palate come menthol, spice, leather and a touch of nectarine. The finish begins with tangy fruit, then turns to sweet and savoury barley notes.
