Redwood Empire Emerald Giant Cask Strength is a straight rye whiskey from the distillery in Graton, California. It is the cask-strength version of the brand's Emerald Giant rye, bottled uncut and unfiltered at 58.2% ABV in a 75cl bottle. Emerald Giant takes its name from one of the tallest trees in the redwood groves. The nose is delicate, with herbal tea, soft cinnamon and dried orange peel. On the palate come Earl Grey tea, viscous dark chocolate and coffee beans, followed by a warm, spicy finish that lingers.
