Redwood Empire Lost Monarch Cask Strength is a blend of the brand's bourbon and rye whiskeys, each aged between 3 and 12 years. It comes from Graton, California, and is bottled at 58.6% ABV in a 75cl bottle.
This version is uncut and unfiltered, taken straight from the barrel without water added. Lost Monarch is the brand's signature blend, named for one of the redwood giants.
The nose is vibrant and earthy, with mint chocolate ice cream. On the palate come warm spices and dried apricot, followed by a white-pepper finish.
