Rémy Martin XO is a Fine Champagne Cognac at 40% ABV, in a 75cl bottle. The cellar master blends up to 400 eaux-de-vie from Petite and Grande Champagne, with 85% from Grande Champagne.
It is aged for longer than the house's XO Special.
The nose brings sultanas, vanilla extract, almost-ripe grapes, sponge cake and a hint of Pedro Ximénez sherry. The palate is rich and spicy, with cinnamon, cloves, drying tannins and cooling menthol. The finish is rich, woody and lingering.
