Rhum Carupano Solera Centenaria (70cl)

A rum from Venezuela made by the Solera method, blending rums aged in barrels of different ages into a harmonious, mature final spirit. It shows deep amber to mahogany colours. The aroma offers caramel, vanilla, dried fruit, woody and spicy accents from long ageing in oak casks. On the palate it is soft and velvety, with balanced sweetness, dark chocolate, nutmeg and a subtle tobacco note, leading to a long, persistent finish. It suits high-quality chocolate tastings or sipping after dinner.
