Rhum J.M Agricole Blanc 110 Proof (1L, 55%)

A white rhum agricole from Martinique, bottled at 55% ABV. It is made from fresh-pressed sugarcane juice rather than molasses, distilled in a traditional Creole column still and proofed with spring water from Mount Pelée. The cane is harvested from estate fields around the Macouba distillery, founded in 1845, and crushed within hours of harvest. The spirit is rested for several months and bottled without ageing, carrying an AOC Martinique designation. On the nose there are fresh lime zest, cane flower, honey and anise, with subtle vegetal and mineral notes. The palate is round and vibrant with sweet sugarcane, grilled pineapple, stewed banana and tropical fruit, balanced by grassy freshness and earthy minerality. The finish is long and warming, with lingering citrus peel, peppery spice and chalky mineral tones.
