Rich & Rare 3 Year Old is a Canadian blended whisky made by the Sazerac Company, with a minimum age of three years. It is bottled at 40%.
The nose brings caramel, cocoa, coffee beans and dark chocolate, with maple, almond oil, pepper and toffee. On the palate cocoa and espresso lead, with candied fruit, sugarcane, muted spice, almond and baking chocolate.
The finish is of medium length, with soft spice, a touch of smoke and baking spices, and a dry coffee-bean fade.
