Rosemaund 10 Year Old Inaugural 1st Release (70cl)

This is the first release of Rosemaund 10 Year Old, from a family farm distillery in Herefordshire. It is made from Maris Otter barley and distilled among the old apple orchards of Rosemaund Farm. Eleven casks distilled in 2014 and 2015 were married for the bottling, built on bourbon casks with a seasoning of full-term sherry-matured whisky. Approximately 2,700 numbered bottles were released. The nose has polished oak, meadowsweet, malted biscuit, cinnamon-spiced plum, baked red apple and candied orange peel. The palate brings dried fruit, tobacco spice, ginger, black pepper, orange zest and a little malty sweetness. The long finish recalls a dry Manhattan.
