Rosso Vettina Pergola DOC from Fattoria Villa Ligi is a red wine with mature red fruit, light spice and undergrowth on the nose. The palate is balanced, with present but smoothed tannins, calibrated acidity and well-integrated alcohol, giving fullness without heaviness. It suits everyday dishes such as cured meats, rustic pasta sauces, well-seasoned white meats and soft cheeses. Serve around 16-18 °C in a wide glass; brief decanting can help the aromas.
