Rowans Creek Small Batch Straight Kentucky Bourbon Whiskey (70cl, 50%)

Rowans Creek is a small batch straight Kentucky bourbon, distilled and aged by Kentucky Bourbon Distillers in Bardstown. It is aged in charred oak barrels and hand bottled one batch at a time at 50.05% (100.1 proof) in a 70cl bottle. The name comes from the creek that still runs through the distillery, which was itself named after Judge John Rowan, who settled around Bardstown in the late 1700s. Each batch is drawn from a small selection of barrels, and at this strength a little water may be welcome.
