Rowans Creek Small Batch (70cl, 50%)

A small batch straight bourbon made at the Willett distillery, from a mash bill of corn, rye and malted barley. It matured in new charred American oak casks and is bottled at 50.05% in a 70cl bottle, with natural colour and without chill-filtering. The nose opens with maple syrup, roasted cashews and a little vanilla, alongside pear and lime. On the palate toffee and peach meet leather, cinnamon and pepper. The finish is long, with molasses and honey, soft tannins and a light herbal note.
