A single cask rum distilled in 2000 at St. Lucia Distillers using the John Dore Pot Still No. 1, matured for 22 years in an ex-Bourbon American white oak cask.
It was shipped to Liverpool after distillation and aged in a continental climate. The rum is bottled at 49.6% vol. in a 70cl bottle.
The nose shows lychee, apricot and sour cherry with Nutella, tobacco, mint and oak; the palate orange preserves, dark caramel, toasted coconut and umeboshi; the finish is long with baking spice, toasty oak and lychee.
