Royal Lochnagar 12 Years Old is a medium-bodied single malt from the wooded country of Royal Deeside, matured for 12 years in oak casks and bottled at 40% in a 70cl bottle.
The nose is in the Highland style, with fragrant linseed oil and sweet toffee set against a fresh acidity. The palate is pleasantly balanced and dries towards a finish of medium length, where a note of sandalwood lingers.
