This is a 21 year old Royal Lochnagar from the Highlands, distilled in 2000 and bottled in 2021 by Hunter Laing & Co. for its First Editions series. It matured in a single refill hogshead, and 289 bottles were released. The character is described as delicate and refined, with orchard fruits, honeyed malt, vanilla and gentle spice, balanced by subtle oak from the long ageing.
