Royal Salute The Harris Reed Edition 21 Year Old (70cl)

Royal Salute The Harris Reed Edition is a 21 year old blended Scotch whisky in a 70cl bottle. It is the third release in The Fashion Collection, made in collaboration with the fashion designer Harris Reed, whose feather headpiece decorates the flagon. The blend was created in a co-blending session at Strathisla Distillery, where Reed worked alongside Master Blender Sandy Hyslop. It includes sherry matured Braeval and American oak matured Glenburgie, and the palate also draws on an extra charred virgin oak barrel. The nose brings red apple, raspberry jam, crème brûlée, hazelnut praline, cinnamon and toasted oak. On the palate come pear crumble, vanilla fudge, toasted almonds, raisin, gooseberry jam, ginger and clove. The finish is rich, complex and spicy.
