Ruadh Maor 2011 is a 12 year old whisky bottled by Dràm Mòr Group in an outturn of 272 bottles.
It matured in a single bourbon cask and was then finished in a first fill bourbon hogshead.
The nose offers plenty of smoke, described as classic campfire smoke rather than peat. The palate is sweet and smoky, with a pleasant reminder of good bacon. The finish is simple but fine, with delicate wood smoke and a touch of spice, and sweet spices keep it balanced.
