Rum Artesanal Australia Rum 2007 #117 (50cl, 67.5%)

A molasses rum distilled in a pot still in 2007 from an undisclosed Australian distillery. It first aged for ten years in Australia before coming to Europe from the end of 2017. The outturn is 370 bottles. It is bottled without chill filtration and without added colouring. On the nose there are citrus, ripe peach, apricot, leather and tobacco, with vanilla and oak after time in the glass. The palate follows the nose, and the finish is very long with fine sweetness, wood, leather and plenty of herbs.
