Rum Artesanal Guyana 1991 Uitvlugt 30 Year Old Rum #70 (50cl, 61.7%)

A 30-year-old single cask rum from the Uitvlugt distillery in Guyana, distilled in December 1991 and bottled in autumn 2022. It was imported to Europe soon after distillation, filled into wooden casks and matured in a continental climate until bottling. The outturn is 236 bottles worldwide. The nose shows fruit, noble wood, leather, anise and a subtle sweetness, with mineral notes, cherry and plum. The palate has a light sweetness, noble wood, subtle fruit, anise and light minerality, with a long-lasting taste, a fine bitter note, some wood and fine dryness.
