A Jamaican rum from 1982, bottled in autumn 2022 as a blend of pot still and column still rums under the MRJB mark. It is a cask-strength bottling at 45.1% vol., limited to 236 bottles worldwide.
The nose begins with fruity mango, apple and a little banana, followed by volatile notes and fine tobacco, then nut, fine wood and leather. The palate has great complexity, delicate esters, wood and fruity notes, with further aromas emerging with each sip.
