A single cask Venezuelan rum distilled from molasses in a column still, bottled at 57.8% ABV in a 500 ml bottle. It is a 17-year-old rum from the 2005 vintage, limited to 342 bottles.
The nose brings forest after summer rain, fresh wild herbs, wood, avocado, moss, and mango and papaya fruit compote. The palate is fruit compote with fresh herbs, candied and dried fruit, a hint of leather, caramel, wood and dark chocolate, with the alcohol well integrated.
