Rumclub Edition 34 Brazil 2011 Rum (50cl, 54.5%)

The 34th edition from the Rumclub Private Selection, a hybrid of fresh sugar cane juice and molasses, with 80% fresh sugar cane juice and 20% molasses. It aged six years under tropical conditions in an Amburana (Cerejeira) wood cask, then a further five years in Europe in an ex-bourbon cask. The edition is limited to 354 bottles. On the nose there are yellow fruits, pipe tobacco, plum, cinnamon and pepper. The palate is sweetish, with cinnamon, Amburana wood, sugar cane juice, agricole fruitiness, pear and apple. The finish is medium in length, with pipe tobacco and plum.
