Russell's Reserve Private Barrel Selection (75cl, 55%)

A single barrel Kentucky straight bourbon from Wild Turkey, sold under the Russell's Reserve name and created by master distiller Jimmy Russell and his son Eddie Russell. The spirit was distilled on 27 December 2012 and matured for almost nine years. The barrel was emptied on 20 October 2021, and the bourbon was bottled on 16 November 2021 at 55% ABV in a 75cl bottle. Woody notes, fresh mint, eucalyptus and vanilla lead the nose, with spice and light rye and corn grain. The palate has a pleasing mouthfeel and sweet wood, mint, eucalyptus, vanilla, spice, rye and corn. The finish is long, with strong spice, wood and sweetness.
