Russell's Reserve Rye 6 Year Old (75cl, 45%)

Russell's Reserve 6 Year Old Rye is a Kentucky straight rye whiskey from Wild Turkey in Lawrenceburg, aged for six years and bottled at 45% ABV in a 75cl bottle. It is named for master distillers Jimmy and Eddie Russell. It carries the high-rye, full-flavoured Wild Turkey house style, with bold rye spice balanced by a smooth delivery. It scored 95 points at the Ultimate Spirits Challenge. The nose is praline, allspice, cream and pink peppercorn. On the palate come cherries, brown sugar and coconut cream pie with a bold rye kick, followed by a long, sweet, smooth finish.
