Russell's Reserve Single Barrel (75cl, 55%)

Russell's Reserve Single Barrel is a Kentucky straight bourbon from Wild Turkey, bottled at 55% in a 75cl bottle without chill-filtration. Master distiller Jimmy Russell and his son Eddie Russell choose the barrels themselves. The bourbon matures in new American white oak barrels with a heavy number 4 'Alligator' char, and the selected barrels come from the middle of the warehouse. The nose has a little oak, cinnamon and vanilla, with coconut and dried orange following. The palate is spicy and full-bodied, with gentle oak, baking spices and dark chocolate set against fresh mint and a little vanilla. The finish is long and lightly sweet.
