Sagamore Spirit Rye Double Oak is a straight rye whiskey that is aged for four years and then placed into a second oak barrel.
The new toasted staves of that second barrel start the ageing process afresh. The result is a whiskey with flavours of caramel and dark vanilla, and a colour that runs from amber to warm chestnut.
