This is a 22 year old single cask rum from Barbados, bottled by Valinch & Mallet at a cask strength of 51.1% in a 70cl bottle. It belongs to their The Spirit of Art series. The rum was distilled in 2001 in a pot still. It spent its first five years in tropical conditions, followed by 17 years of ageing in a continental European climate. It was bottled in 2023 from cask number 12, in an edition of 273 bottles. It has no added colouring or sugar and was not chill-filtered.
