Sall – Giljagaur Christmas Whisky (50cl, 50%)

Giljagaur is a Christmas whisky from Sall, bottled at 50% in a 50cl bottle. It is the second in the distillery's Christmas series inspired by the 13 Icelandic Yule Lads, an idea from its Icelandic head distiller. Giljagaur hides in gullies and steals the foam from the milk pails. The whisky is unpeated and made from 100% Vienna malt, from Prospect spring barley grown at Gejlund and harvested in 2021. It spent three years in a first fill PX sherry hogshead, then finished in smaller first fill ex-Oloroso quarter casks. The outturn is 540 bottles.
