This is the 2008 edition of Samaroli's blended malt Scotch whisky, in a 75cl bottle. The blend was distilled in Speyside at Glenallachie, Macduff and Glentauchers.
Glenallachie is known for using lightly peated malt, and Glentauchers was founded in 1897.
The nose is very clean and green, with fresh grass, wildflowers, hay straw and freshly ground grains. Sesame, mint and bergamot follow, along with sharper notes of anchovy paste, garlic flowers, spice and balsamic.
