This Sangiovese di Romagna Riserva DOC from Vigneti Romio comes from the hills of Emilia-Romagna, where Sangiovese finds ideal ground thanks to a temperate microclimate and well-drained, skeletal soils. It expresses the authentic character of the grape through careful ageing in oak barrels. In the glass it is an intense ruby colour. The nose opens with delicate aromas of ripe cherry, plum and spicy notes of black pepper and tobacco. On the palate it is soft and structured, with elegant tannins and a harmonious balance of freshness and body. It pairs with roasted meats or aged cheeses.
